Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds is set to significantly expand its physical retail presence by launching 25 new stores across India in the first quarter of the financial year. The expansion will cover major metropolitan cities as well as emerging Tier 2 markets, reflecting the brand’s strategy to tap into a broad and evolving consumer base.
Founder and Managing Director Pooja Madhavan highlighted that the brand’s journey goes beyond conventional retail growth. She emphasized that Limelight was established with the goal of introducing a new category in the Indian jewellery space—one that blends innovation, sustainability, and accessibility. According to her, the strong acceptance of lab-grown diamonds across diverse markets signals a shift in consumer preferences toward smarter luxury choices.
With the addition of these outlets, Limelight’s nationwide network will exceed 85 stores, strengthening its position in the fast-growing lab-grown diamond segment. The company continues to position its offerings as ethical, modern, and relatively affordable alternatives to mined diamonds, featuring designs across categories such as rings, earrings, pendants, and bracelets.
Looking ahead, the brand has outlined an ambitious roadmap to scale up to 200 stores by 2027, underlining its confidence in sustained category growth.
Director of Retail Expansion Karamjyot Singh Chawla noted that the company’s strategy prioritizes building strong market depth alongside expansion. He added that each new store is designed to deliver a consistent premium experience, backed by robust systems in merchandising, supply chain management, and financial planning to ensure long-term, sustainable growth.
