Indian jewellery label Tribe Amrapali has expanded its international footprint with the opening of a new retail presence in Sharjah, UAE, debuting a curated jewellery showcase at Bait Elowal, the culture-led retail destination developed under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi.
The launch introduces Sharjah’s audience to Tribe Amrapali’s distinctive, craft-driven aesthetic, rooted in traditional Indian design and artisanal techniques. The selection features the brand’s signature ethnic-inspired silver and gold-plated silver jewellery, reinforcing its focus on storytelling through handcrafted adornment.
Describing the move as more than a commercial expansion, Tarang Arora, CEO and Creative Director of Amrapali Jewels, said Sharjah represents a natural cultural alignment for the brand. He highlighted the Middle East’s deep emotional connection with silver as a material that carries history, symbolism and identity—values that closely mirror Tribe Amrapali’s philosophy of celebrating the artisan’s hand over industrial uniformity.
The collaboration also strengthens Soghat Elowal, the retail arm of Bait Elowal, as it deepens its emphasis on craft-led brands and cross-cultural narratives. By hosting Tribe Amrapali, Bait Elowal continues to position itself as a platform where heritage and contemporary retail intersect.
Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi described Bait Elowal as a living cultural space rather than a static exhibition, likening it to a modern majlis where tradition is actively experienced and reinterpreted. She welcomed Tribe Amrapali as a partner that shares a belief in craftsmanship as a carrier of memory, meaning and human connection.
Founded in 2013 as a digital-first brand, Tribe Amrapali is part of The House of Amrapali, the Jaipur-based jewellery group renowned for drawing inspiration from India’s diverse jewellery and craft traditions. Today, the brand retails across India through standalone boutiques and airport locations, and its Sharjah presence marks another step in building a global audience for Indian artisanal jewellery.
