Thailand Launches 'Magic Hands' Campaign Ahead of February Bangkok Fair

The 63rd edition of the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF), which will take place from February 20 to 24, 2019 at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, will showcase extraordinary Thai skills in jewellery making, ready to serve a global audience.

The 63rd edition of the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF), which will take place from 20-24 February 2019, is set to present an extraordinary array of gold and silver jewelry, fine jewelry, gem-set jewelry, and polished precious and semi-precious stones. Impressive figures from pre-registration show major buyers from across the world including the United States, EU, India, Australia, the Middle East, and ASEAN.

‘Thailand’s Magic Hands Campaign’ aims to gain international recognition for the Thai gems and jewelry industry, which is the country’s third highest export earnings. The campaign artworks reiterate strengths of Thailand’s gems and jewelry industry, connecting the spirit of jewelry making to the traditional way of life and advanced skills of making intricate
creations. It is synchronization of hands and mind of Thai artisans that give life to objects, a distinctive feature found in Thai arts from fruit carving, mural painting to high jewelry making.
