Wongs Jewellers Winter Ball in Liverpool to raise money

The second annual Wongs Winter Ball raises £44, 288 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

The sold out sparkling evening welcomed 200 guests, including industry professionals, to The Venue, inside the iconic Royal Liver Building in Liverpool, for a night of fine dining and entertainment.

Throughout the night, Wongs presented several opportunities to raise money for the charity – including a live auction, and raffle.

At the inaugural ball in 2016, the independent jewellery retailed raised £40,000, and this year it managed to give the local charity even more.

“The charity is very close to our hearts,” says Wongs Jewellers managing director, Peter Wong. “Alder Hey Children’s Hospital provides vital services for the people of Liverpool, the North West and indeed the whole country so we are hugely proud to have been able to give something back.

“The staff at the hospital do incredible work caring for the children and their families during very difficult circumstances and we are incredibly thankful for all the hard work and commitment of the staff.”
