Bonhams presents the New York Jewels sale on December 9, 2024. The 195-lot collection of jewelry features an impressive range of diamonds, colored diamonds and vibrant gemstones from emeralds, sapphires and rubies set in spectacular signed pieces from names including Bulgari, Cartier, David Webb, Harry Winston, Oscar Heyman, Seaman Schepps, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and Verdura.
Leading the sale is a pair of Cartier sapphire and diamond clip brooches, circa 1935. Each shield outline is set with vari-cut sapphires of Sri Lanka origin, weighing a total of 180.00 carats, enhanced by circular-cut diamonds. Offered with an estimate of US$200,000-300,000.
