London’s Kimaï, an ethical jewellery brand focusing on lab-grown diamonds, has released its debut engagement ring collection.

Kimaï, which has its roots in Antwerp, has unveiled the Perfectly Imperfect collection today.

It features six made-to-order pieces and there is also a bespoke design service with virtual consultations.

Priced from £1,500 to £10,000, the six engagement rings are handmade in the brand’s Antwerp atelier using lab-grown diamonds, set within 18kt recycled gold.

Inspired by the curve of the female form, the collection aims to span timeless classics and modern, daring pieces.

Kimaï co-founder and designer, Sidney Neuhaus, commented: “The Perfectly Imperfect pieces are uniquely crafted in wave shapes, carefully designed to direct away from the hand to elongate and flatter the finger.

“Each design can be adapted to any diamond carat and cut, with the option of having either pavé, half pavé or plain settings.

“Unlike other brands, none of Kimaï’s designs feature halos, so the quality of the diamond is as clear cut as its origin.

“At Kimaï, we want people to feel proud and passionate about showing of lab-grown diamonds. We want it to become a society status symbol.”

Kimaï was founded in 2018 in London by Jessica Warch and Sidney Neuhaus.

Both born into the industry in Antwerp, they set out to reimagine the world of fine jewellery by creating a truly modern brand, with transparent ethos at its core.
