International Diamond Premier League 3.0 to Bring Global Diamond Community Together in Hong Kong

The third season of the International Diamond Premier League (IDPL) is set to take place in Hong Kong from 19–22 March 2026, bringing members of the global natural diamond trade together through a unique blend of sport, networking, and industry collaboration.

After successful earlier editions hosted in Antwerp and Mumbai, the tournament returns with its third instalment—IDPL 3.0—featuring participants from major diamond centres including India, Belgium, and Hong Kong. The event aims to strengthen ties across the international diamond pipeline while celebrating the shared culture that connects diamantaires worldwide.

The official opening ceremony will take place on 22 March 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, where industry leaders, invited guests, and stakeholders from across the diamond sector are expected to attend.

Created as a platform to unite the natural diamond community, IDPL uses cricket as a universal language to connect professionals across manufacturing, trading, and retail hubs. By hosting teams from multiple global centres, the tournament underscores the interconnected nature of the diamond supply chain and the collective efforts behind bringing natural diamonds to market.

The Hong Kong edition also highlights the city’s role as a crucial gateway linking Eastern and Western jewellery markets. Through a mix of sporting competition and professional engagement, the event is designed to encourage deeper collaboration among diamantaires, manufacturers, retailers, and service providers, while reinforcing confidence in natural diamonds—valued for their rarity, craftsmanship, and emotional significance.

IDPL 3.0 will also shine a spotlight on the wider ecosystem that supports the diamond trade, including cutting and polishing specialists, high jewellery houses, and secure logistics providers who ensure the safe movement of precious goods across global markets.

The event is backed by several leading industry partners. SimStar Asia Limited, part of the Sim Gems Group, will serve as the Title Sponsor. The Diamond Sponsor role will be held by Lamha Gems Limited, supporting the initiative’s goal of fostering global industry connections.

In addition, Ferrari Group, known internationally for secure logistics services for jewellery and luxury goods, joins as the Platinum Sponsor. The Gold Sponsor is Malca-Amit Group of Companies, recognised for its specialised solutions in secure transportation, vaulting, and trade-show logistics for the diamond and jewellery sector. Hong Kong-based high jewellery house Dehres will support the tournament as the Silver Sponsor, reflecting its commitment to the natural diamond industry.

Team sponsorship further illustrates the international participation within the league. Anita Diamonds, represented by Chirag Shah, will sponsor the Belgium team, highlighting the vibrant trading community of Antwerp. Meanwhile, the India team will be sponsored by H S Jogani, led by Ronak Jogani, reflecting India’s longstanding leadership in diamond cutting, polishing, and global trade.

By combining sport with professional engagement, IDPL 3.0 aims to strengthen industry relationships, celebrate the people behind the diamond value chain, and promote long-term growth and integrity within the natural diamond sector.
