As Bijorhca Paris opens its doors today for a four day trade show, visitors can expect a bigger and better offering of precious jewellery.
Meeting the increasing demand of jewellery buyers around the world, Bijorhca Paris has put a brighter spotlight on fine jewellery.
To help jewellers navigate the show, precious jewellery is now on to the same floor as the ‘industries, packaging and services’ suppliers, which are normally located on the ground floor.
Therefore, jewellers will be able to easily find all the products they need to refresh and add variety to their points of sale.
On top of this, the overall area dedicated to fine jewellery is divided into three pathways, visible from the trade show entrance, to further enhance the experience for jewellers:
– PRECIOUS AVENUE for all the key precious jewellery brands
-†PRECIOUS VILLAGE for the young designers
– PRECIOUS PLACE for the six precious jewellery brands the buyers have all been waiting for.
Elsewhere, in the workshops area there will be training and information aplenty for visitors, with specialists leading workshops on the precious jewellery sector.
Today, Bijorhca Paris has also launched a competition in partnership with the “Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux” (French association for the protection of birds) and the Bermudes (French manufacturer and designer), 3J Creations and Wacom studios.
The contest is open to all jewellery designers and students in the sector and has its own space at the show where entrants can view the rules and submit their entries.
The jury, composed of jewellery professionals and members of the public, will choose the three winners who will be revealed at Bijorhca Paris in January 2019. The winning piece which has attracted the most attention from the jury and members of the public will be made and presented to the industry at the September 2019 show.
To find out more, visit the contest area of the show over the next four days.
Bijorhca Paris September 2018 edition takes place from Sept 7 – Sept 10 at the Parc des Expositions – Paris Porte de Versailles.
