Chaumet says it is, for the first time, offering a fully traceable stone in a piece of jewelry.
The luxury French jeweler, founded in 1780, has joined forces with Sarine, the Israel-based tech company.
The white gold Bee My Love pendant is set with a 0.50-cts 88-facet empress cut diamond, accompanied by a fully digitized report, accessible via a QR code, detailing the diamond’s unique characteristics and origin.
The company says: Thanks to the use of cutting-edge technology, Chaumet can now take its exclusive cut even further by offering a fully traceable stone, a first for Chaumet.
“The Maison offers the possibility of tracking and visualizing the different life stages of each stone, from rough diamond to pendant, a testament to their commitment to style.”
The pendant, available from this month, is priced online at $7,900.
