Luxury house Chanel has reinterpreted the chain of the iconic 2.55 handbag and the octagonal shape of Place Vendome in its latest collection of fine jewellery.
The renowned yellow-gold chain imbues the new Gallery collection with a rigorous geometric structure, whether in a simplified form or as interlacing links.
Adorned with diamonds, the Gallery range features three themes – My Green, My Red, and My Chain.
My Green nods to the Place Vendôme as the octagonal motif takes on the shades of tourmaline and malachite, while My Red offers a playful and expressive interpretation of the 2.55 handbags. For the My Chain pieces fluid gold encircles an octagonal smoky quartz with irregular facets surrounded by a line of diamonds.
The Gallery collection is an ephemeral range with will present new creations every two years.
