GJEPC Equips Members with Digital Tools and Export Compliance Knowledge Through Webinar

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) organised an informative webinar on 16 July 2026 to familiarise members with its digital services, membership advantages and the electronic Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (e-RCMC) application process. The online session aimed to help exporters and manufacturers make better use of the Council’s digital ecosystem while ensuring smoother compliance with trade procedures.

The webinar was led by Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director – Membership, GJEPC, who provided an overview of the Council’s organisational framework and highlighted the key benefits available to members. He explained how GJEPC’s various initiatives support business growth, enhance export readiness and improve operational efficiency across the gem and jewellery industry.

Participants were introduced to a wide range of member services, including MSME support schemes, the Hand Carriage Facility, the Digital Members Directory, Bharat Ratnam Mega Common Facility Centre (Mega CFC), Importer Exporter Code (IEC) services, ICEGATE registration, AD Bank registration, Customs KYC, IJEX, IIJS exhibitions, the Parichay Card programme and the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.

Adding a practical dimension to the session, Archana Bhosale, Assistant Manager – Membership, GJEPC, conducted a live demonstration of the Digital Members Directory available on the Council’s online portal. She guided attendees through essential features such as member login, profile updates, company search, business networking options and requesting profile viewing permissions.

Bhosale also provided a detailed walkthrough of the IEC update and e-RCMC application procedures on the DGFT portal, enabling members to understand the digital submission process and complete regulatory formalities with greater ease.

The webinar witnessed participation from 75 GJEPC members, who actively engaged with the speakers during an interactive question-and-answer session. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, reinforcing GJEPC’s ongoing commitment to empowering its members through knowledge-sharing, digital transformation and industry-focused support initiatives.
