Italian precious metals refiner Italpreziosi S.p.A. has officially been added to the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Good Delivery List for silver, with the approval taking effect from May 20, 2026.
The inclusion marks an important milestone for the Arezzo-based refinery, further strengthening its position within the international bullion and precious metals market.
LBMA Approval Follows Rigorous Assessment
According to LBMA, Italpreziosi successfully met the organisation’s strict requirements covering operational history, production capability, ownership structure and financial stability.
The company’s silver bars also passed extensive technical testing procedures conducted under LBMA protocols. These assessments included independent examination and assay verification, alongside evaluations of the refinery’s internal assaying systems and quality-control capabilities.
Expanding Presence in Global Precious Metals Market
Italpreziosi S.p.A. was already listed on LBMA’s Good Delivery List for gold and is widely known for refining and processing precious metal-bearing materials for international markets.
The company supplies silver products refined to globally recognised bullion standards, serving clients across the jewellery, investment and industrial sectors.

In 2024, Italpreziosi became a Certified B Corporation™, joining a global network of companies recognised for maintaining standards related to environmental responsibility, transparency and social performance.

LBMA Continues Oversight of Global Bullion Standards
The London Bullion Market Association oversees the internationally recognised London Good Delivery List, which identifies refiners whose gold and silver bars meet the standards required for trading within the London bullion market.
The current list includes 66 approved gold refiners and 84 approved silver refiners worldwide.
