Pandora’s distribution center in Hamburg, Germany, has been damaged after a fire broke out in the roof.

The Danish jewelry giant said it has yet to fully assess the extent of damage to the building and to its inventory, but said nobody had been hurt.

The warehouse, on Hans-Dunker-Strasse, serves as Pandora’s European distribution center.

The company said: “Other points of distribution will to the furthest possible extent service the European markets. Online sales are expected to continue more or less unaffected through external partners.”

The fire department said the blaze started in the attic and heavy smoke and flames spread over a fire area of 40m x 100m. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
